Build a quote form customers can finish

Collect the facts needed for a useful response without making the form a project.

Ask for the essentials

Start with name, a reply method, service needed, service area and a short description. Add a job-size or preferred-date field only when it changes your ability to quote. Mark required fields and use visible labels.

Explain what happens next

Tell people whether the form requests a quote or confirms a booking. State a response window only if the business can meet it. After submission, display a clear confirmation and provide another contact route for urgent requests.

Separate optional messages

If you plan to send promotional reminders, ask separately from the service request. An inquiry should not automatically turn into marketing permission. Keep the words that were shown when consent was given and honor opt-outs.

Test the whole journey

Try the form as a visitor on mobile, confirm that the owner can find the entry, and verify that the reply goes to the right address. Test a failed submission too. A visible form is not proof of delivery.
