Follow up on estimates without sounding automated
A simple sequence that keeps the customer’s choice and timing in view.
Record the next step
Keep the estimate date, service requested, price or range actually quoted, and questions still open. A generic reminder without context is easy to ignore.
Write one useful message
Refer to the actual request, ask whether the customer has questions, and offer a specific next step. Do not create false scarcity, claim availability you have not checked, or repeat the same message indefinitely.
Respect the channel
Use the channel the customer chose and any consent that applies. Separate a reply about the active request from later promotional contact. Stop promotional drafts when the person opts out.
Close the loop
If the customer books, update the status so estimate reminders stop. If they decline, record the outcome and avoid treating a lost estimate as an invitation for repeated promotions. Review response quality before increasing frequency.
